Cavi Consulting ("Cavi", "we", "us"), based in Richmond, Virginia, operates this website. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit the site or contact us, who processes it on our behalf, and how to reach us about it. The short version: we collect only what you send us, we run no advertising trackers or analytics, we set no cookies, and we do not sell personal information.
Information you give us
When you use the contact form, the AI readiness assessment, or the newsletter signup, we receive what you enter — typically your name, company, email address, your message, and (for the assessment) your answers. We use it to respond to your inquiry, deliver assessment results, and — only if you signed up — send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical data when pages and assets are requested: IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp. We use no analytics product, no advertising pixels, and set no cookies or browser storage for tracking. Because we do not track visitors, "Do Not Track" browser signals do not change anything — there is nothing to turn off.
Who processes data on our behalf
- HubSpot — our CRM. Form and newsletter submissions are sent to HubSpot, a US-based company, so we can manage and answer them.
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers the website and provides security filtering. Cloudflare processes the technical request data described above.
Every script, stylesheet, font, and image the site uses is served from our own domain. Loading a page sends no request to any third-party content network.
Links to external services — such as our booking calendar (Google) and our LinkedIn page — take you to those providers' sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising.
- We do not run third-party ad or social trackers.
- We do not make automated decisions about you.
Retention
We keep inquiry and contact data for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting engagement, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your choices
Email us at {{ contactEmail }} to ask what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will act on reasonable requests promptly. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights (for example under California or EU privacy law); we honor those on request too.
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, and form submissions travel encrypted to our processors.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted here.
